Music is the Journey
I am currently on a journey to become a passionate and committed music professional, with the talent and drive to succeed. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I find it very powerful and it has gotten me through a lot. Playing drums and rhythm guitar in a band setting lead me to find live sound and mixing. The more I did sound the more I enjoyed it, but the more I did the more I also realised there was so much to learn. I decided to explore the idea of doing sound and audio as a job. This lead me to SAE. I wanted to find a job where I'd want to go to work every day, excited to show up to work. Fast forward a few trimesters, I know I've found just that. I have not looked back once on this decision and I'm loving every moment. I have learnt so much, especially abut studio production and am looking forward to moving forward in my degree and learning even more.
Trimester 4...
The Full Story
This trimester I had the pleasure in partaking in a wide variety of different projects ranging from live music festivals and gigs to studio productions to post production. Below is a selection of projects I have been part of over the last 12 weeks. There are a total of 5, scroll down to see more.
Trimester 5...
This trimester I worked on a variety of projects including recording, mixing and mastering for the 4'20 Band Sound System and my own major project, 2 promotional videos for natural skincare company Allira
Allira Videos
Allira is a natural skincare company based on the Gold Coast. This trimester I teamed up with videographers Tim Wilson, Aniri Whewell, Kera Whewell and musician Micheal Boston to produce these videos. I participated in recording the music and voice overs and mixed the sound of the videos. I also acted as project manager on this assignment, communicating between the musician, videographers and my client.

Sound Design Clip
This trimester I was also able to create my own sound design. We were given a silent clip, mine is from transformers and we had to create all the sounds that went into it.
